International Association of Forensic Linguists Off Campus Housing University Inn
This smaller ¡°boutique¡± hotel is located in the University District, just off campus near the west end of the University of Washington campus. There is free parking, free wireless internet access, a hot spa and a swimming pool. There is also a hotel shuttle, although the hotel is within walking distance of the conference site. The on-site Portage Bay Cafe serves breakfast, brunch and lunch. Rates are $129 a night for a single and $139 for a double, not including state and local taxes. You may make reservations through any of the means listed above and you need to mention that you are attending the conference of the International Association of Forensic Linguists. If you come in through the website, click on ¡°Group Reservations.¡± Reserve early if you can, as the weekend of our conference is the same weekend as the STP, the Seattle to Portland bicycle event, and (thousands of) riders leave from the University of Washington. There is free parking, wireless internet access, exercise facilities, and a complimentary daily newspaper. Some of the rooms have views of the Cascade Mountains, some of downtown Seattle, and others of the Olympic range. Rates are $135 per night, not including state and local taxes. You may make reservations through all means above but the website. You need to mention that you are attending the conference of the International Association of Forensic Linguists.
