10th Biennial Conference on Forensic Linguistics/Language and Law

The 10th IAFL Biennial Conference The International Association of Forensic Linguists (IAFL) is pleased to announce that its next biennial conference will be held at Aston University in Birmingham, UK, in July 2011.The IAFL Executive Committee voted unanimously for Aston to host the conference as it was felt that their detailed proposal gave a strong guarantee of success. The organizers are based at the recently established but thriving Centre for Forensic Linguistics and are very active both within the Association and in the world of forensic linguistics more generally. The university has good conference facilities and Birmingham is easily accessible from all parts of the world.
The call for proposals and other conference details will be announced by the organizers in due course.
