刘老师，最近在翻译一些资料上有些问题请教：上次中央台李肇星答记者问中有一句血浓于水，该如何翻译，翻成blood is thicker tan water,对吗？
还有怎么翻译“重合同，守信用单位”。翻成：enterprise with good faith and credit“合适吗？请赐教！thanks!

陆登峰：你好！“血浓于水”的翻译正确。它是英语中一个固定的谚语。
重合同，守信用单位的译法：
enterprise honoring contracts and abiding by its words
enterprise observing contracts and honoring its credits
以上仅供参考。你的译法还可以，意思基本表达出来了。
